DJDannyBoyUK – Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by DJDannyBoyUK, an Event Entertainment and DJ Service. By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

• "DJDannyBoyUK" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to DJDannyBoyUK, Event Entertainment and DJ Service.

• "Client" / "You" refers to the individual, company, organisation, or representative making the booking.

• "Event" refers to the function, performance, or occasion for which services are booked.

• "Venue" refers to the location where the Event is held.

• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with the confirmed booking details.

2. Booking Policy

2.1 A booking is considered tentative until confirmed in writing by DJDannyBoyUK.

2.2 A booking becomes fully confirmed only when:

• The required deposit has been received, and

• Written confirmation (email, invoice acceptance, or message) has been issued by DJDannyBoyUK.

2.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring that all event details provided (date, time, venue address, access arrangements, performance times, and special requirements) are accurate.

2.4 Any changes to the booking must be agreed in writing. DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to decline changes that materially alter the original booking.

3. Deposit Policy

3.1 A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed fee is required to secure the booking.

3.2 No date will be held without receipt of the deposit.

3.3 The deposit contributes towards the total booking fee and is deducted from the final balance.

3.4 Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation, postponement, or reduction in event duration.

4. Pricing Policy

4.1 All prices are quoted based on the information provided at the time of booking.

4.2 Prices may vary if:

• Event duration is extended

• Event location changes

• Additional equipment or services are requested

• Event details differ from those originally agreed

4.3 Any additional charges will be agreed in writing prior to the Event wherever possible.

4.4 DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to amend pricing if incorrect or incomplete information was provided at the time of booking.

5. Payment Policy (28 Days)

5.1 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before the Event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in:

• Cancellation of the booking

• Loss of deposit

• DJDannyBoyUK being released from all contractual obligations

5.3 Payments can be made via approved payment methods as specified on the invoice.

5.4 DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to refuse to perform if full payment has not been received by the agreed deadline.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Cancellation by the Client

If the Client cancels the booking for any reason:

• Deposit (25%) is non-refundable, except as outlined in section 6.4 (Exceptional Circumstances)

• If cancellation occurs within:

  • 28 days or more before the Event: only the deposit is payable

  • 14–27 days before the Event: 50% of the total fee is payable

  • 0–13 days before the Event: 100% of the total fee is payable

6.2 Any cancellation must be made in writing.

6.3 Cancellation by DJDannyBoyUK

6.3 In the unlikely event DJDannyBoyUK is unable to perform due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control:

• All monies paid will be refunded, including the deposit

• DJDannyBoyUK will make reasonable efforts to recommend a suitable replacement but cannot guarantee availability

6.4 Exceptional Circumstances (No-Fault Cancellation)

6.4 In exceptional circumstances, where cancellation is required due to events that are no fault of either the Client or DJDannyBoyUK, the deposit may be refunded at DJDannyBoyUK’s discretion.

6.5 Examples of no-fault exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

• Venue closure due to unforeseen events

• Government-imposed restrictions or legal prohibitions

• Severe weather conditions making the Event unsafe or impossible

• Major incidents rendering the Event unable to proceed

6.6 Each case will be assessed individually. Supporting evidence may be requested.

6.7 No other compensation beyond the refund of monies paid shall be due.

7. Event Access & Venue Requirements

7.1 The Client must ensure safe and adequate access to the Venue, including:

• Suitable loading/unloading access

• Adequate power supply

• Sufficient setup and breakdown time

7.2 DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to refuse to perform if the Venue is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

8. Damages Policy

8.1 The Client is responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of DJDannyBoyUK equipment caused by:

• Guests

• Venue staff

• The Client

• Any third party present at the Event

8.2 Any damage must be paid for in full, including repair or replacement costs.

8.3 DJDannyBoyUK accepts no responsibility for damage caused by faulty venue power supplies or unsafe conditions.

9. Restricted Music Policy

9.1 DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to refuse to play music that:

• Incites violence or disorder

• Is offensive, discriminatory, or hateful

• Is likely to cause distress, panic, or confrontation

9.2 This includes but is not limited to:

• Certain football chants or rivalry songs

• Songs with explicit or inappropriate content (especially at family or public events)

9.3 Final discretion regarding music selection remains with DJDannyBoyUK.

10. Noise Level Policy

10.1 DJDannyBoyUK will make reasonable efforts to keep noise levels to a minimum where required.

10.2 The Client is responsible for:

• Informing DJDannyBoyUK of any venue noise restrictions

• Obtaining any required permissions or licenses

10.3 DJDannyBoyUK will comply with venue staff or authority instructions regarding volume levels.

10.4 DJDannyBoyUK shall not be liable if reduced volume impacts the atmosphere or performance.

11. Photo & Video Policy (Including TikTok Live)

11.1 DJDannyBoyUK may capture photos or video footage during events for:

• Promotional use

• Social media

• Website content

11.2 This may include live streaming on platforms such as TikTok Live.

11.3 By booking DJDannyBoyUK, the Client grants permission for such content unless explicitly stated in writing prior to the Event.

11.4 DJDannyBoyUK will not knowingly capture inappropriate or sensitive content.

11.5 Clients may request an opt-out in writing before the Event.

12. Social Media Policy

12.1 DJDannyBoyUK may tag venues or events on social media unless otherwise requested.

12.2 Any abusive, defamatory, or misleading content posted by the Client about DJDannyBoyUK may result in refusal of future services.

12.3 DJDannyBoyUK reserves the right to remove or respond to online content that misrepresents services provided.

13. Force Majeure

13.1 DJDannyBoyUK shall not be held liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Extreme weather

• Government restrictions

• Power failure

• Acts of God

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 DJDannyBoyUK’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.

14.2 DJDannyBoyUK shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16. Acceptance

16.1 Payment of a deposit or balance constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
